Thank you,

Received on 12-8-11 just a little over 7 weeks ago. The standard time frame is 6-10 weeks for individual Pits and 2-4 weeks for litters associated material. Based on where Registration is at it looks like they will be completing it next week. We do already have their registration numbers and will email them to you privately so you can move forward with the litter.

Hello Horace

If they are just starting mating you can register Athena now and have your material in 6-10 weeks, which is right about the time the pups should be born and is the standard time frame for processing individual Pits or if you prefer to wait you can do so as well. If you wait and you register Athena and the pups all together once you submit them the standard time frame for processing litter associated material is 2-4 weeks. We place a priority on litter associated material due to its often time sensitive nature. What you would not want to do is wait for the pups then register Athena wait on her material to then register the litter. This would cause an unnecessary delay in the litters material of 6-10 weeks doing it that way since you would be waiting on her material to then complete the litter. So either she should be completed now and the litter once it arrives or if you wait on the litter both her and the litter at the same time.

In terms of cost the standard rate for an individual Pit is $25. For litters we provide a 50% discount on them and only charge $12.50 per pup. Also we cap the cost at $100 for a litter so this means if the litter is over 8 then each pup over the 8th is actually registered free. If the litter is smaller than 8 it is simply the number in the litter times $12.50 plus the $25 for Athena if she is also included. Here is a link to our main website's primary registration page with all the different forms and information: http://PitBullRegistry.com/Pit%20Bull%20Registration.htm

Also during registration you should make sure to provide us as much genealogical information as you have including any pedigrees from other registries Apollo and Athena are registered with so we can fully research their lineage for you and use it to further enhance their material and that of the pups. This will also determine if any of them are eligible for the new Super Pedigree program.

In regards to the new owners once you register the litter we will send you an individual certificate for each of the pups. On the back of their certificates is a special transfer form that is to be completed in the name of the new owners. Either they can do this or you can do it on their behalf. We actually prefer the breeder to do it but offer the option for convenience.

During the transfer process all material is completed absolutely FREE for the new owners including up to a 7 generation printed pedigree if such genealogical information is available. We then send the new update material directly to the new owners along with their very own personalized Family Profile disc so they can also keep up with their Pit's Family as it grows.

In regards to the names during the litter registration some breeders like to name their pups and others just prefer something like Pup #1, #2, etc. Either way is fine by us. This part really is not that important though because they will be given new names by the new owners anyway at the time of transfer into the new owners name.

I hope this helps, If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Will you still be able to register my pits? Another thing is that I have both parents names for my female pit Athena and I have a picture of them... My question is.. Was I suppose to add that info to the registry and if so let me know so I can email you that info. As for my boy I do not have that info yet but hopefully will in a few days.

As long as a Pit is purebred it can be registered. Sounds like the problem with submission may have been the picture size or format. If they are over 1 MB or in an unsupported format like .BMP then the form does have a problem processing the information. We have updated your account here on Pit Bull Social so you have access to the extra APBR member exclusive benefits and services available including the ability to upload pics into your own personal photo album. Try uploading the pics there to see if it works. If not check out this tutorial that will help with reducing size and changing formats if needed. http://AmericanPitBullRegistry.com/Tutorials/Change%20Format%20and%20Reduce%20File%20Size/C hange%20Format%20and%20Reduce%20File%20Size.swf

I do not see the pics immediately in our email so I am wondering if you may have sent them to the wrong one or there was another issue with receiving them. If you can upload them in your account here we can easily pull them. You should also make sure to label  them properly so there is no confusion.

In regards to any lineage you have yes it should be included during the registration process but you can provide it now if you wish and are definitely encouraged to do so. Also any pictures of them can be provided. You should provide as much as you have as the more you provide the more we can research on your behalf and us it to further upgrade your material.

Let us know when you have uploaded your pics and other information and we will be happy to check it out for you.

If you have any issues or we can help in any way please let us know.

Im having an issue with the disk. When i click on the link to go into my family profile it goes to an error page. Like the ones you get re directed to when you type an address incorrectly. Im not sure if its the actual disk or maybe my computer. What do you think it could be? Any information would be helpful. Thanks again for your time and support.

I will check on Woodstock to see that his material is on its way. If you do not receive it within a week definitely let us know.

In regards to the disc try it again. Our host moved their servers recently that caused a little issue with database connectivity. That is probably what happened with the disc since it acts as a key to access the server database.  If it does not work definitely let us know.
